How to Create Accruals in Glean

Glean not only alerts you of potential accruals but automates the schedule creation and journal entry postings.

Set a default accrual account:

  1. Go to Manage on the left hand side

  2. Select General Ledger

  3. Click on the Pencil icon on the right hand side

  4. Select your Accrual Account

Create an accural from the report:

  1. Select Recent Gleans from home page

  2. Filter for Potential Accruals

  3. Select the vendor you want to accrew

Create accrual without the alert:

  1. Navigate to the vendor page

  2. Select [...] on the right hand side

  3. Select Create Accrual
